State-wide support for all early childhood coaches.

A Collaborative, Connected Community

Coaches are an important part of the early childhood education ecosystem in Nebraska. While everyone agrees that providing quality care and education to young children is the ultimate goal, coaches are focused on improving outcomes specifically among the teachers and administrators of these programs, and increasing access to quality, equitable environments for all children and families.

The Coach Development Network is a statewide, early childhood, collaborative group consisting of Early Learning Connection-Coach Consultants, Initiative Lead Coaches, and Initiative Coordinators who align their efforts to support coaches from various initiatives as they support the early childhood workforce of Nebraska.

The professional development of early childhood education coaches in Nebraska is important to us. The more engaged, enthusiastic and confident coaches feel about their career, the more they will impart those same feelings to the teachers and administrators they work with. The Coach Development Network aligns the work of various Early Childhood Coaching Initiatives and aims to equip coaches for connection, growth and change while growing and expanding our group of professionals.
